 Coaching Philosophy

I love helping anyone improve their performances at anytime in their lives.  I coach appropriate to the age and experience level of the athletes.  The best coaching is done on a collaborative level.  I don’t dictate - preferring advice and guidance to athletes by giving feedback during the journey.  I am very proud to have started or advised a lot of people who have gone into coaching:

John Rembao – Currently at the University of California

Terry Schneider – Well known professional athlete and coach

GP Perlberg – Currently coaching in New Jersey

Jim Clarke – Coached at Soquel High School and Watsonville High School

Armando Siquieros – Doctor and coach at Mission College Prep – Coached Jordan Hassey

Greg Hales – Current coach for St. Francis High School

Josh Small – Current coach at Valley Christian High School

Dan Gruber – Current Coach at Aptos High School – Many XC Championships and state track qualifiers
